xsl:output method=xhtml

Hello,


I'm trying to make an xml -> xforms xslt.  When I specify <xsl:output method="xhtml" ... />, I get this error from firefox: 
Error loading stylesheet: Parsing an XSLT stylesheet failed.

If I use <xsl:output method="html" ... />, the error disappears but namespaces disappear from my output entirely.  This is keeping me from making any xforms markup since the xf: namespace is disappearing from all the element names.  I guess this is breaking the rendered output which doesn't show up like xforms should and doesn't work like xforms should.
