(Just as a heads-up, this forum is for technical discussion of the layout *engine* in Firefox, not the layout of Firefox's UI.) Having said that, I'll still answer your question -- the bottom bar has gone away as part of the UI redesign (which is why you haven't found how to restore it), but I believe you can recreate it using either of these Add-ons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/the-addon-bar/ (Caveat: I haven't tried either of those, but they're well-reviewed, and I've overheard mention of them as being helpful.) Also, for any icons that you don't think need a permanent visible place on your UI, you can hide them via the "Customize" mode. You're probably already aware of that, though. Good luck! ~Daniel On 05/10/2014 05:41 AM, Wen wrote: > Hello everyone, today I've updated Firefox to 29 and now there's this problem: > https://i.imgur.com/WPLllBx.jpg (before) > https://i.imgur.com/XQw07VT.jpg (after) > > My screen is small oly 18,5" and all the extensions' icons make the address/search bars so cramped, can anyone tell me how to move the icons from above the page, to below like it was before, please? I've read the Firefox introduction to the new layout but I couldn't find any instructions about the bottom bar. > > Thanks in advance. > - Wen. > _______________________________________________ > dev-tech-layout mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-layout >
