I again tried last night to download the very latest nightlies.

This time i download the latest test build of Moz 1.7 for Mac which was 
dated 2/17/2004
and Tbird .5 which was still 2/14/2004 but a later time.

Both had the "the application has unexpectedly quit!" error.

there is either a "major defect on the server used to house the 
Nightlies", or the person generating the code is braking the programs 
some how.
