Help! Exporting .csv files

Would appreciate some help here.  I'm working on a Mac OS 9.1
with Netscape 4.75.  I want to export an address book as a .csv
file.  According to the directions, you click on the book, you
click on Export from File Menu, and you are suppose to be able to
name your file as a .ldif or .csv file.  There is no window to
select this choice.  No matter what tag I put on the file name,
it comes up ldif.  OK.  No problem until I try to import this
ldif file into Eudora.  Nothing happens.  I need to get this
address book into a csv file format.  What am I doing wrong ...
or how can I get this to work?
