WamCom 1.3.1 and Netscape email account

Is it possible to access the Netscape mail server with WamCom 1.3.1?
It doesn't connect for some reason, and the settings seem right.
I'm using OS 9.2.2 with 512MB RAM and cable broadband, and have made and 
renamed a duplicate of my Netscape profile (the one in "Documents") for 
WamCom. The duplicate profile for WamCom has been selected in its 
Preferences and server settings.
Netscape 7.02 connects to the server with no problem.
