Hello, I try to get a communication between javascript and flash to work. In the Macromedia TechNotes it says, that it should work under Mac OS 9 and Netscape. But it doesn't. I downloaded the Netscape 7.0 version for the Mac. Do I have to install a special Java plugin to get liveconnect to work? I don't know if it is useful... but I cannot open the Java console in Netscape, only the Javascript Console opens and shows the javascript error messages for the function setvariable() that should normally send a variable to Flash. Does anyone has a suggestion how I could fix this? Or can it be fixed somehow?
