If it occurs in other programs as well, then the culprit is most likely 
within your system, not the program.

Do you have the latest drivers for your mouse/pointing device installed?

Note: Some mouse drivers changed during the transition from 2x to 4x, 
ensure you REMOVE the old drivers before installing the new ones.
