Converting Profiles From 4.07 to 7.02

haven't found any mention of it at Google.  I'm running 9.2.2 on a G4.

     I'm trying to upgrade from 4.07 to 7.02.  Three of us in this 
house have our own 4.07 profiles.  I've reinstalled 7.02 several times 
in an effort to solve this problem.  Every time, Netscape finds and 
offers to convert two of our three profiles.  Only one of those two 
does it convert properly.  For the second one the "conversion" 
consists of the standard links augmented with one link apparently 
chosen at random from the first profile.

     Does anybody know how to force a conversion of an old profile that
it doesn't even find automatically or how to correct the conversion of 
a profile that it thinks it has converted?  I'd like to move us all to 
7.02 but if we're going to have to manually reenter all of our links I 
might just decide to move to a supported product--gasp!
