Hi there people, I don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask but here goes . . . 1. I had been running Moazilla 1.1 on a iMac under MacOS 8.6 fine. 2. I stupidly (or thoughtlessly) installed 1.2.1 on it (I know it is for 9.x :/) 3. 1.2.1 got stuck on the startup screen - that's when I realised how stupid I was. 4. I deleted the Mozilla folder and removed The Mozilla Registry and Mozilla Versions out of the Preferences folder. 5. I reinstalled Mozilla 1.1 and it gets stuck on the startup screen (as per 1.2.1). Can move the mouse around but nothing :( Have to restart the iMac :/ 6. Repeated steps 4 & 5 a number of times - and that's why I am now here as it just gets stuck on "starting up". 7. I would prefer not to run MacOS 9.1 on the iMac as it is an original Bondi Blue and it will just slow it down. Any help would be appreciated as I love my Mozilla with LCARS theme. I also use it a lot for testing websites. I also have only just started using the mail component (for my soon to end mac.com addy) and even gave Chatzilla a whirl (have been using Ircle for years - freedom on irc.oz.org - I am an admin there and also manage #macintosh - http://www.ozmac.org). IRC, a browser and javascript - has me now intrigued :) I have Mozilla 1.1 installed on a 9.1 Mac and was about to install 1.2.1 on it but have now put it on hold. I also use Mozilla 1.2.1 on a Win98 machine. I have also started recommending and installing it at client sites (MacOS and Windows). I have just got a Bugzilla account and have volunteered for a job. cheers, keep up the great work and tia!
