FireFox, open apps in other application

I am at a loss.  How do I get Firefox to open, say a WMV file in Media 
Player?

The Downloads Pref panel has a File Types page...  At home (OS 10.3, 
Fx0.8) I get 2 types.  At work, (OS 10.3, Fx0.8) I see lots.

	How do I edit/add to this list?
