Netscape 7.2 crashes after updating Java to 1.4.1 OS 10.2.8

Hello,

I have a 300 MHz Power Mac G3 running OS 10.2.8. I was happy with the 
improved performance of Netscape 7.2 until I updated Java from 1.3.1 to 
1.4.1.

Now I find that some aplets do not work. Such as javascripts and it 
crashes very often. Even going to ebay crashes Netscape 7.2.

I can use Netscape 7.0 which does not crash. I believe Netscape 7.0 uses 
the older Java 1.3.1 which is still installed.

Even Safari does not run some aplets either.

How do I unistall Java 1.4.1?

I can not upgrade my OS to 10.3 because my G3 is not compatible due to 
no USB on the mother board.

Any help would be appreciated!
