If I set the home page to "use blank page", and cmd+N to create a new window, typing goes straight into the address bar. If I leave it set to the Google/Firefix thingy, then the google search box is selected by default; hit cmd+L go into the address bar if you don't want to use the mouse. -- brion vibber (brion @ pobox.com)
