Anyone else having sporadic problems with "Roaming User" uploads?

I'm having problems with the new "Roaming User" feature (aka roaming
profiles) in Moz 1.8a5 on OS X 10.3.7. I have a NAT'd router between me
and my DSL service

When I exit Moz, it appropriately tries to upload various profile data.
Sometimes the upload works, sometimes it doesn't. You can see the
various resulting error messages at:

The behavior is, if an upload works, it works immediately, otherwise it
seems to hang for about a minute waiting before failing. During the
wait, the "netstat" command shows something like:

Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address (state)
tcp4 0 0 192.168.1.100.50167 freak6.webhostfr.18742 SYN_SENT

When I try and use a manual ftp command at the same time, it always
works perfectly. Ie. the manual ftp command never *ever* has errors
like this.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem? Any bugzilla/mozilla bug
numbers you can point me to?

Thanks
