In Firefox, when you open a menu, that becomes the focus, and any other windows (in the background) are not refreshed or updated to reflect their current status. As soon as you release the menu, then that window has focus again and is updated. For example: Say you go to a site that takes 15 seconds to completely load. If you go to the site, then quickly open a menu, the page appears to 'freeze', but if you have the menu open for 15 seconds (or more), when you close the menu, the page pops up completely loaded. -- Mozilla Champion UFAQ - http://www.UFAQ.org Mozilla Champions - http://mozillachampions.mozdev.org Posting Guidelines - http://mozillachampions.mozdev.org/guidelines.html Mozilla Manual - http://mozmanual.mozdev.org/
