Re: Crash on clicking external link

Someone suggested this might be a problem with a corrupted profile, but
I have since tried it out just after removing all the profile data and
preferences (thus getting a fresh profile), and I'm still seeing the
same behavior. This seems to be a bug because I have now replicated it
on other systems. The person who first runs Netscape has no problem,
but subsequent users of the application consistently cause Netscape to
crash when they click on a link that would call for a file download.
The crash can be avoided by using "Save Link Target as..." Similar
behavior occurs with E-mail attachments in the "Mail and News"
component.
