Sorry to inform you that using the PCDefaultApp utility did not fix the problem; and neither does the Mail program have a place to tell it that thunderbird is the default. Therfore the iPhoto program only lists Eudora, AOLMail, and Mail, but not thunderbird However, now I can from either firefox, or IE ask them to send a link by mail and thunderbird starts properly. So what is remaining is the iPhoto problem Thanks
