firefox 1.5 problems

Tried to download ff 1.5, I could get it running but it uses the same 
profile as 1.0.7 and I have no idea of how to set up a new profile.
the only profile manager on my system is in classic, netscape 4.79 and I 
do not think I should use that. I am totally LOST on what do to next.
I can download ff 1.5, but I cannot get the application into the dock
and once anything is there, I cannot trash the dmg file and the ff icon
on my desktop. I AM TOTALLY LOST AND HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET ANY KIND OF 
HELP (only criticism from everyone). I really want to use this with no 
problems, but I only get problems.
Can anyone assist me without all the messages to post elsewhere, or to 
get a brain?

And I still cannot post from my home computer using OS 9, I am posting 
this from mozilla 1.3.1 under classic.
