WebMaker is a community to help teaching to people how to write and
remix Web content: https://webmaker.org/en-US/

I attended the WebMaker session at Brussels and it seems that their
X-Ray Goggles tool allows to edit existing MathML equations:
https://webmaker.org/en-US/tools

However it is just editing the MathML tree. It would be good to have
better editing tools to write formulas without having to learn a syntax
like LaTeX. For example, one application would be to have tools for kids
to write elementary math (see
http://www.w3.org/TR/MathML3/chapter3.html#presm.elementary, this is not
implemented in Gecko).

Perhaps Florian can say more, there have not been so much discussions
about that at Brussels.

Hope that helps,

Frédéric
