Hi Raniere,

I'm cc'ing people who have worked on math search.

I think the two search engines (bu Xuan's team & Michael's team) both 
rely on LaTeXML to convert TeX into presentation+content MathML (you can 
probably do that too) but don't do the search with Javascript.

Perhaps it would be possible to implement the search algorithm in 
Javascript or to set up a Web service for your application to perform 
that search.
