Dear all,

As you know, Gecko 31 will improve how math fonts are supported in =

MathML. I've started to update the documentation and asked the change to =

be in the official Firefox release notes. Here are some pages:

* Fonts Installation: =

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/MathML_Project/Fonts
* Using Math fonts on Web pages: =

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/MathML/Authoring#Mathematical_=
fonts =

(there is a link to a GitHub repository with WOFF fonts)
* The MathML torture test: =

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/MathML_Project/MathML_Tort=
ure_Test
* Implementation status: =

https://wiki.mozilla.org/MathML:Open_Type_MATH_Table

Feel free to edit and improve these pages.

Some things that remain to do:

* Add Latin Modern Math and XITS in the default font-family on the =

<math>, so they can be usable by default. =

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D1014601

* Update the MathML-fonts add-on to use Latin Modern Math and XITS.

* Create an add-on to let users select the default font. Since =

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D947654 is not ready, I plan =

to write an add-on to inject a custom stylesheet with font-family.

* Ask the font designers to fix the ascent/descent bug in some math fonts.

* Ask the package maintainers to update / integrate the math fonts.
