FAQ or tutorial on NSPR?

Hello,

we are evaluating NSPR as a possible base for a platform-independent
server process.

After having skimmed through all available documentation on

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/nspr/

and here especially in the NSPR Reference, I wonder whether there is a
FAQ or a "Getting started" tutorial on how to program with NSPR.

Any hints are highly appreciated.
