I sure empathize with that... ESR45 is due out in a month, while ESR31 
stopped getting security updates back in June.  Meanwhile, the Firefox 
crew keeps ripping out back-end code that people still want to use (ftp, 
cookie prompts, etc).  For a while there was even a contingent that 
deemed everything non-mobile as unimportant; maybe we should be grateful 
that Firefox OS was an abject failure.  But I consider it a pity, as I 
think they did drive some interesting things forward, including WebRTC.
