lightning date reminder function - application crash

Hello,

By using creating a new date and setting a reminder to one day before, 
after pressing the save button the whole application crashs. 
Reproducable on different systems and service levels.
Tested with seamonkey 2.35 and also latest thunderbird build. With 
seamonkey it's not too evil because lightning can easily disabled in ui 
and restarted one time more to be able accessing messenger again. With 
TB the safemode option should be used otherwise it will crash 
immediately after next start.
Also I tested for settings with libical and alternative ical.js just for 
curiosity - no difference in behaviour.
We should disable this function in the lightning xpi for now per default?
Should I file a bug report at Dave's bitbucket repo for this issue? It's 
definitely not a cross-platform bug.

But I can confirm that initial joltet display of day calendar view is 
also an issue with sm 2.35 + lightning 4.4b2 under windows. I reported 
earlier about that.
