Well, it is no longer possible to try anything. I couldn't wait around
for an answer, so the problem was solved with a new profile, and the 
data was removed (can't leave valid bank passwords sitting around). I 
am now 2 days, and 2500 KM, down the road to home. I should be there 
sometime tomorrow afternoon, or evening.

People should watch for the problem, and hopefully there will be more 
time to analyze it, if it is seen again.
