Does not FF download for example a .pdf file to either the x:\tmp or
x:\temp dirs and then process it from there, for instance calling Lucide
for a .pdf file?

OK, so now we know that. But if She sets the MOZILLA_HOME=r:\ and
reboots, won't the old profiles for SM and FF be unavaible? Perhaps She
must have two command prompts available, the first for accessing the old
SMPMW118 profile, the other for creating the dir tree on r:\ and locally
setting MOZILLA_HOME=R: and invoking the profile manager for SMPMW118
from there?
And now when we're talking of SMPMW and SM, what charset should She use?
Currently She uses UTF-8 instead of the standard 'Western ISO-8859-15'
because the Swedish language's three tail-end characters 'Å/å', 'Ä/ä'
and 'Ö/ö' which isn't always displyed correctly in return posts. So what
charset should She use? UTF-8, Western or some other charset? She only
posts in Swedish and English, not other languages.
And would the structure above had to be altered when She migrates
SMPMW118 to SM 2.1 and lastly to it's final version?
