The easy way to insure you get a profile where you want it is: Go to a partition that can be accessed by all OSs that you want to access that profile. Do not use a partition that has an OS on it. Create a sub-directory anywhere you want and name it anything you want. It appears you are using SM. Put the SM program anywhere you want. Do not put it on a partition that has an OS. Create a run object/shortcut where the run command is in the form "X:\SMVersionXX\seamonkey.exe -Profilemanager". When activated, the profilemanager window will open. Chose create new profile. Take SM to the sub-directory you created and have it use that sub-directory as the new profile. If the sub-directory is empty. SM will create a complete new profile. If you have copied an existing profile to the new sub-directory, SM will use what that SM version is able to use and create or update the rest.
