Updated sqlite, which updated libc, rebooted, no problem with SM. 
Updated libcx, rebooted, no problem with SM, including closing it. I'll 
update os2-base and os2-base-unixtools-path.
Can't remember if you're using ANPM or manually installing the zips.
Also can you get a picture of the trap screen?
