Newest fat32 driver is slower, fat32-0.10-r204-os2.zip, if had to > reinstall would use previous version. Perhaps there is a better new version somewhere. > What's the difference between dSync and rsync? If She understands it correct, rsync will backup everything it's told to backup, but can rsync and Dsync be setup so that it will backup everything on the system on for example Saturday and only backup changed cat/files the other days of the week? Backing up everything every day will take time. The new box have USB 3.0 but She haven't heard of any OS2 / eCs USB drivers that can handle USB 3.0, only USB 2.0. The team behind ArcaOS is developing USB 3.0 drivers but haven't released them yet, and She don't have an active download license for it yet - it must be renewed when there is money available. The newest FAT32 version is 19-09-25 5.31 1.203.904 74 fat32-0.10-r378-os2.zip and is dated 2019-09-10, so it's a newer one than the version that you mentioned. Check with Netlabs if they have this new version available, it's free and you DON'T need a subscription to access their various software projects. >>> Warpin, never use it directly. As for the FAT32 driver and cache software, they go into the config.sys entirely, no need to call CACHEF32 from the startup.cmd file. Btw, do you feel that your keyboard is slow? Then She can tell you of a small gem of software namely ks.exe (freeware, have it first in the startup.cmd) and She invokes it with ks.exe 0 30 meaning zero delay and 30 repetitions per second as She have learned to type with ALL fingers without having to look at them - She began learning this mode of typeing while She was in the 2nd class in elementary school and contiued up to the 9th class where primary schools end here in Sweden. Didn't get any grade until She entered 7th grade and up. And this mode of typing have stood Her in good stead ever since. So if you are interested in this ks.exe program (less than 20kb in size) She can send it to you when the new profile is up and running.
