Thanks for that! And She suspects that the -ProfileManager parameter is
also used with the mailer, i.e. SMPMW118. But now She have another
Qestion for you, you rememberd that She had searched high and low in the
Senf folder for the name "Kaldani", "down in the basement", i.e. when
the mail was closed and got no answer for the name "Kattarina" but got
no hits there. But up in the mailer She got hits for Kattarina, so THAT
valuable info is not gone. But you said that I should try reindexing the
Sent folder, but should She do it here in the old profile or wait with
the reindexing when the new profile "Brekke" are created and the Inbox +
inbox.msf and Sent + Sent.msf are in their correct locations. And when
we're at it, under the News dir there exists a host of files/dirs which
She lists here below:

<$copy>
20-04-15 7.16 <DIR> 0 .

So which of these dirs are relevant for the ecomstation newsgroups, the
news.ecomstation-1.com or news.ecomstation.com? Will only have
news.ecomstation.com and news.mozilla.com newsgroups in the new profile,
I'm skipping the Opera as She thinks that there are no higher version of
Opera for OS/2 higher than 5.2 (She thinks). Btw, what do you think -
should She change the name in the From field to Her new name "Lessa
Mirrimdotter" or keep the old name, at least in the newsgroups?.

(*) She thinks that these statements confused Seamonkey so She couldn't
access the news.ecomstation.com, so the best way would be to ensure that
they aren't carried over to the new profile so the new settings should
be "news.ecomstation.com and it's corresponding .msf and .rc files and
"news.mozilla.org" plus the corresponding .msf and .rc files.

(**) These statements were from the time that Telia had a newsserver and
Bredbandbolaget had a newsserver too, but these firms has dropped this
services, so these statement can be left out.

Btw, how should a copy or xcopy statement look that She can put at the
top of the SMPMW118 launching file so that the Sent and Sent.msf are
copied to a safe location on the Z: partition - have lots of space
there, and how should the statement look if She wants to overwrite the
previously copied Sent and Sent.msf files?

And do you know how to repair a defunct WarpIN? She have a 'common'
Warpin in the g:\os2ut\Warpin tree, but it's no longer working so She
can't installing for instance the PM Backup program (It is flatly stated
on its webpage that it should be installed with Warpin, so the current
WarpIn that is accessible from WSeB and eCs20RC4 on the old system must
be repaired so She could install PM Backup and try to "hot up" the
current WSeB system with the newest AHCI, ACPI, MultiMac, the newest
FAT32 drivers from NetLabs and the SMP extensions that is on the install
CD which She have available here. But She are getting pissed at the guy
that are responsible for the ArcaOS OS - he thinks that She should only
have ArcaOS on the new box as he claims that eCs 2.1 (both the Home and
Student and the Business versions are dead and un-necessary) She have
told him straight to his face that She must have eCs 2.1 installed so
She can look at TV program via the SVTPlay site (SVT is our public
service TV operator, and URPlay is also a part of SVT (UR stands for in
Swedish Utbildningsradion but they sends TV programs too). Reason? To
see a TV program via a decent high browser (on the new box FF31/38/45) a
Flash11 plugin plus the latest Odin is required - and the Flash11 plugin
is ONLY licensed for eCs, not WSeB or ArcaOS.

Personally She believes that having more than one version of OS/2 and
their clones eCs and ArcaOS on the new box is a good thing. A hotted up
WSeB sould be good as there are so much stuff tied to it so it would be
a pain in the butt trying to replicate these in for example ArcaOS. Then
use the various OS'es depending on which strenghts and weaknesses are.
Use eCs 2.1 for looking at SVTPlay, use ArcaOS if that OS does something
better than the other installed OS'es do. Not at least for doing
restoring of a crashed OS, for example WSeB. She have experienced this
earlier and then it was easy to boot into eCs20RC4, rename a small file
on the WSeB partition, do a test restore (BackAgain/Pro did it's backups
on a DAT74 tape, unlimited backup size, only 2Gib on for example an USB
stick) and if that test restore was OK, then reformat C: (where WSeB are
installed), do a FULL restore + a CHKDSK C: /F and then reboot into a
fresh WSeB as the backup of the whole system to tape was done from a
fresh WSeB - FULL backup on Saturday and Incr backups on Sun-Fri. Change
tape and do the FULL + Incr stuff next week. The 3rd week, change tape
to the Week1 tape and begin the cycle again. Good to have two weeks
backups at hand if something went shitty and the last backup couldn't
fix it, then try the previous week's backup instead. Will inplement this
method with PM Backup but not using an USB stick but instead a HD
connected to the system with an USB cable and partitioned up into two
partitions, one for Week1, the other for Week2.
