Hi all, ok, it would be extremely nice to be able to store your imap preferences for IMAP on the mail server itself, so that when you go to another machine, you can install Thunderbird and then just log in to your IMAP account, and it would pick up all of the filters, and other settings. It would seem that you could do this by simply saving a mail message that Thunderbird looks for in a particular folder. That would also be cool to sync between clients on different machines (say at work and at home). Things like a dozen filters are difficult to synchronize... Maybe this is a note for a different group that would make it as an extension, but wouldn't that be a great function ???? I know FireFox does something similar with bookmarks and the such... Tim.
