cookie management

Often I visit a web site that I will not likely visit again, but which wants
to set LOTS of cookies.  I am tempted to select "Use my choice for all
cookies from this site".  But that would leave a permanent entry in my
Exceptions list.  Continuing to do this will, over time, clutter up my
Exceptions list.

If the Exceptions list contained the date on which the last related cookie
was set or modified I or an automated process (even better) could throw out
old entries from time to time.

Another annoyance is the inability to display cookies based on the domain.
By doing that I could easily see that a particular domain is posting lots of
cookies.  With that information I could create a domain-level Exception and
throw out the lower level Exceptions (say, clearing out ad.annoying.com and
buy.annoying.com, for just annoying.com).

Of course (to get to my final point) to do that I cannot simply change the
url of an Exception.  I have to create a new entry and delete the old ones.
That is prone to allowing typos to yield results other than desired.  It
would be much simpler to be able to edit the Exception details
