Office 2003 Install Wipes Out FireFox Preferences

I just uninstalled MS Office 2000 and installed Office 2003. When I did that, all my FireFox preferences disappeared, my bookmarks are gone, all my cookies are gone, and my browsing history is gone. What happened? Is there a fix for this? I'm running XP Pro SP2.
