Version 1.2a JPG attachments

Apologies ...  I forgot to mention.

I am usin IMAP for email.

I use  Offline/synchronize to download my mail.

Doanloaded and installed 1.2b, as suggested.

Interesting .... Now it just ignores them.
Double clicking or a right-click and open
just results in a pause and then nothing.

On a brighter note .... 1.2b now COMPLETELY
displays the first of the .jpg attachments
on another email I received.....

Previously it only painted the top half
of the first .jpg.

Any other suggestions.

Am happy to forward the errant email to those
who may be interested. 444K.


I still think that it may be something to do
with the case of the attachment name .JPG ??

BTW ... an uninstall does NOT delete all of the
entries in the WIN32 registery.

This is GOOD stuff chaps.... press on.

Hi guys ......a problem I seem to be having with 1.2a and attached
JPEG images.

When I attempt to open the attachment (image.jpg) it asks me
what application to use ....

A thought ......... the extension is in CAPITALS ....
but the filename is not..

ie.   image.JPG

Any thoughts ...

BTW ... How does mozilla know that I need to open a word
attachment with word ??
