Hi, I miss the old feature of netscape/mozilla where you can simply launch a process and up comes a browser--that is, I find the profile manager very pesky. Is there any way to get rid of this? I always use the same profile anyway, from my personal account on a linux workstation. I tried replacing my alias with 'mozilla -remote "openurl(homepage,new-window)"', but that only works if a process is already running. How do I make an alias to start up a browser window in the default profile, whether mozilla is running or not? Is there such a feature? Could there be? Thanks for the help, Jeff
