I did this after making copies of my bookmarks and history.dat files. (I'd gotten in the habit of making history.dat copies, as they have continued to occasionally go POOF.) Fire up 1.2, and my settings and bookmarks are remembered. It even remembered that I wanted it to keep history for 185 days. But NO HISTORY FILE. So I copied it back. Mv1.2 keeps replacing it with a fresh empty one. I've made a few crude stabs at trying to isolate the differences and try to stuff the old data into the new file without success. How can I trick/fool/force Mv1.2 to accept the history data from a Mv1.1 history.dat file?
