   Try this approach:

   		In windows folder properties > file types lookfor URL: 
Mailto protocol (usually listed as N/A in extensions). 
Select this item and click on advanced and point the open 
action to Eudora.exe.

  In Eudora , Under prefernces (MAPI) select "Use MAPI 
Always" -- Click on OK

  Close Eudora
  Restart System
  Reopen system

I use this approach with Moz/NS Browser only install on Win 
ME and it works fine.

Currently testing Mail-News changes of moz 1.2.1 but do like 
Eudora.
