Problems deleting messages in Mozilla Mail

I am using Mozilla Mail 1.2.1, I have preferences setup to move messages to
Trash when deleted.  When I hit the delete key Mozilla Mail give me a UID
Copy error, indeterminant folder: Trash.  I am setup to use IMAP from our
organazations IMAP server.  I can delete message fine in either netscape or
evolution mail, but would like to use Mozilla.  Is there somewhere in the
prefs.js file to specify a Trash can?  Or a possible work around for this
problem?
