There is a difference between the CSS I posted and that at the URL above, which is that mine doesn't have the ''border-color'' lines. The difference is that with mine is that the attribution *and* that posters text are the same colour, even though they are at different quoting levels. To use this post as an example, with my code the line ''> Roy Smith wrote:'' is darkred as is what he actually wrote, ''>> Hi,'' whereas with the border-color lines ''> Roy Smith wrote:'' would be black and ''>> Hi,'' would be darkred. I prefer not to use border-color because it means that the name of the poster is in the same colour as their message which makes it easier, IMHO of course, to see who wrote what, but obviously you use whichever style you prefer.
