Hello,

I have tried to find the smoothScroll-feature in mozilla 1.4a. The
"What's New" README http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.4a/#new
tells me:

"Mozilla now has smooth scrolling. It is disabled by default. To enable
it, use about:config to add the boolean preference general.smoothScroll
with a value of true. To disable smooth scrolling, set the value of the
pref to false."

When entering about:config as URL there is no option named
"general.smoothScroll". If I create one in my user_prefs it occurs but
does not have any effect. Doesn't this work with a Linux-Mozilla?

I am using:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401

Thanks,

Gert
