Address book recovery

I have a Win ME user whose system crashed and he lost one of his address 
books. The .mab file corresponding with this addressbook still exists 
and seems to be in tacked and the prefs.js file appears to be configured 
to include this addressbook.

Does anyone have any tips on how to restore this addressbook?
