You can put IP addresses there, but if you, for example, have a machine called foo.wibble.local at IP 10.11.12.13, then putting 10.11.12.13 into the "no proxy" field will cause Mozilla to bypass the proxy only for http://10.11.12.13/, not for http://foo.wibble.local/ maybe you can access your intranet server using it's IP address, and include the IP address in that field? -- Michael
