Does the autoadmin.global_config_url configuration parameter work 
in Mozilla 1.4 ?

My requirement is to have a centralize non encoded preference file on a 
local web server. Each machine on the Intranet, on mozilla startup 
should read the preferences from the centralize preference file. This 
way I have to make changes in only one preference file.

Is there any other configuration parameter I can use for this centralize 
preference file?
