News Servers out of sync

On January 7th, I show 43 items in my netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news (using news.xnet.com).

If you use Google groups, you will get 56 items. If you use the netscape public servers direct (news.mozilla.org), there are 28 items.

I did spot checking prefs as well and have similar anomalies. Oddly with prefs, I also see messages that don't show up on Xnet but are in news.

Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas?

Felinda Kasilag posted an item of mine from news-mail to prefs on the 29th and I'm wondering if many people are even seeing that or my original message from December.
