First, the location where the program is stored is NOT referred to as a "profile"; and, you should NOT be editing or changing any "prefs" in the mozilla.org program folder(s). In a standard installation the program goes into [drive]:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla; your personal user data goes into a location based on your operating system (see: http://www.holgermetzger.de/pdl.html for details). Given what I think you're saying, I still think the path you need to take is to do a new installation of Mozilla 1.6. During that process the installer will tell you it is going to delete everything in the program folder(s), which you should allow to happen. That will clean out any extensions such as jslib and launchy that might have been installed into the programs folder. This process will NOT affect your personal data stored in your profile folder(s). -- Ed Mullen - Mozilla Champion http://edmullen.net/moz.html http://www.mozilla.org/community-etiquette.html "Fear has its use but cowardice has none." - Mohandas Gandhi
