This at least gives some output so we should be able to see what 
happens. The first time I ran it it gave a lot of output (registering 
components), subsequently just a few lines which I've copied below:

This seems to indicate there's a problem with the threading...
I presume if we can work out what, and fix it, we should be OK.
Could you try my build I posted in another thread and see if it works on 
your machine? That should tell us something...
