Hello! We are migrating our internal CI and release processes for Mozilla products from Buildbot to Taskcluster. I'll be your guide! (themesong: https://youtu.be/RZ-uV72pQKI) We mapped out a plan for the first four milestones, focusing on Linux64 build and test here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CfiUQxhRMiV5aklFXkccLPzSS-siCtL00wBCCdS4-kM/edit# Status updates will go here: https://public.etherpad-mozilla.org/p/buildbot-to-taskcluster-migration My plan is to track bugs in the etherpad, and send out the weekly status updates via email. At this time, we're not planning on having a big meeting, but I'll update everyone if that changes. Currently, I'm only tracking things that are in our Roadmap. For example, this work doesn't include Release Promotion. That work is being done in parallel and doesn't impact our migration work currently. Status for 8 October 2015: - 7 bugs on file http://mzl.la/1hsTVbL - Linux64 builds are green! Thanks, Dustin - Dustin and wcosta working on hooks - Clobbering in TC docker-worker is scheduled to land Monday - ahal has made great progress with linux64 tests! - garnt, wcosta, selena and jhford met to discuss next steps with monitoring, API and how structured logging fits in (bugs are being filed) - We're currently spending quite a bit of time on B2G support strategy, and coordinating on FOTA - okta/ldap integration is being investigated further, turned out to be quite a bit more complicated than we thought initially - Scopes roles code is merged, load testing is starting before deployment - Jake (dividehex) is picking up coalescing!
