Hi Doug, Firstly I'd like to say how grateful I am of Doug doing this port, the progress is very impressive so far, considering the difference between the hardware of desktops and PDAs. Firstly, a question. The menu system: menus seem to be coded in a way that is not native to PPC2K3 e.g. drawn out in graphics instead of using a menu function provided by the OS. Is this the case? The menus just seem a little temperamental and unresponsive at times. Secondly, how much control does Minimo have over the displaying and hiding of the keyboard? I for one use a PDA with a hardware keyboard and therefore the keyboard popping up all the time is frustrating. Do you think it is possible to put an option to stop it popping up in the preferences dialogue you have written in your roadmap for 009? Next thing is a suggestion which I think would greatly improve the usability of Minimo. If any hyperlinks try to open up a new window, could this be loaded in a new tab? And also, if you hold the stylus down on a hyperlink, in the context menu along with the toggle full screen and call options, a open in new tab option would be great. Last observation is that when the (again seem to be non-native) scroll bars, if you hold down on the arrows or to drag the bar, the circle of dots appears as if you were wanting a context menu. It is a silly thing that I should be able to ignore, but when you are used to the way the interface works in PP2K3, then if is very confusing when that happens. Hope this all makes sense and doesn't seem too much like complaining, you really have done great work and these relatively small things should really increase it's usability. Rj :o)
