The Nightly Tester Tools already has a screenshot grabber that makes a
screenshot of the window.
I don't think it would be very difficult to make an extension (using
the canvas tag) that would do what you wanted.
Btw, this screenshot making thing isn't necessarily related to SVG at
all. It could work just as fine for HTML.
