It was confusing but still; support for .smil files in the browser is needed by [somebody|anybody] because of the emergence of digital signage. Several media player vendors support .smil files for playlists and so on but at several hundred dollars per player and another box to plug into the wall we'd rather be using Firefox of course eh?
