Thanks a lot. Can you give me any hint how to change the code using the DOM so I 
can work on the code in my environment? The SVG code isn't from me so I'm not 
very familiar but I'd like to extend it so one day it may become usable for OSM.

Besides is there a usefull tutorial about SVG? I'd rather don't like to dig into 
W3C documents, they are more or less unreadable.
